LOGISTICS OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Operations Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of logistics activities during night shifts, ensuring efficient coordination of transportation, distribution, and warehousing processes. Additionally, flexibility to work during public holidays is required to meet the demands of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage logistics operations during night shifts to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
2. Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts through regular audits and inspections.
4. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and resolve any issues or delays.
5. Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports for analysis.
6. Implement and enforce operational procedures to streamline processes and improve productivity.
7. Conduct regular performance evaluations of logistics personnel and provide coaching and training as needed.
8. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations governing logistics operations.
10. Remain flexible to work during public holidays and weekends as required to meet business demands.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
2. Strong understanding of transportation, distribution, and inventory management principles.
3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Proficiency in logistics software and systems, including ERP and WMS platforms.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
6. Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
7. Willingness to work night shifts and flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to logistics operations.
