Job purpose
- To provide optimal level of care in accordance to established policies and procedures.
- Supervise Nursing Team comprising of Nursing Aides and Healthcare Assistant to ensure optimal delivery of required care to the clients.
Duties and responsibilities
- Comply with approved Nursing SOPs
- Perform nursing/clinical procedures and treatment as require such as wound dressing and insulin injection.
- Work with multidisciplinary team to analyze and evaluate nursing care plan and ensure care plan is implemented by team.
- Participate in discussion with therapy team for residents' care.
- Supervise Nursing Team comprising of Enrolled Nurse, Nursing Aides and Healthcare Assistant.
- Leads and participate in clinical improvements and processes.
- Pack and Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure proper record of nursing care and Residents' Medication Record.
- Conduct pre - admission and discharge assessment.
- Assess, plan and prepare residents and caregiver for discharge program.
- Assist client to manage common age-related conditions such as incontinence and loss of mobility.
- Perform client's education and training.
- Assist in roster planning.
- Schedule care staff to attend external training and conduct their competency assessment and clinical competency.
- Oversee adequacy of medical supplies/ equipment and ensure regular quality control check of medical equipment.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Degree in nursing
- Registered with SNB
- Clinical experience and at least 3 years in eldercare sector will be advantage
- Dynamic team player with good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
