Role Overview

Urban Renewables is aiming to shape the city of the future by developing and investing in sustainable energy solutions. We currently supply Solar and Electrical Vehicle charging points to many companies and condominiums in Singapore. With a small team we have large ambitions and growth potential.


This is a full-time on-site role in Singapore for a Head of Business Development. The Head of Business Development will be responsible for business planning, sales, account management, and driving overall business growth. The role will involve identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.


Job Description

  • Manage the Business development team for Solar Rooftop Projects
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in sustainable building management.
  • Build client lists and identify key contacts for Solar Rooftop Projects
  • Establish agreements and relationships with external parties such as suppliers, business collaborations and strategic partners.
  • Handle all client enquiries pre and post-purchase to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Coordinate their needs with the internal and external teams.
  • Divining the company’s sales & business development strategy and processes including quotations
  • Divining our customer offering based on customer feedback
  • Providing up-to-date weekly/monthly pipeline progress report.

Requirements

Work experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in the combination of Real Estate and Sustainability. As well as in sales and business development
  • Experience with different sustainability solutions in an international work environment
  • Knowledge of the build environment is preferred
  • Degree in Business related fields, such as Bachelor's in Business or Masters in Business Administration.

Skills needed:

  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills
  • Experience in outbound sales and/or client acquisition
  • Strong management and communication skills
