The Business Analyst Lead (Healthcare) will play a vital role in Thomson Medical's digital transformation project. You will lead the business analyst team in collaborating with cross- functional teams, including IT, operations, and medical professionals, to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into innovative technology solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the functional design and rollout of Thomson Medical’s new Healthcare Management System, covering Patient Management, Doctor Management, and Resource Management.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business requirements and process flows.
· Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
· Translate business requirements into functional specifications (Epics) and user stories for developers and designers.
· Participate in the design, development, and testing of core systems and end-user applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
· Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support and escalation when necessary.
· Perform functional testing and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure it meets business requirements.
· Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to healthcare and digital transformation.
· Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field.
· 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or digital transformation projects in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting.
· Have knowledge on SQL queries or stored procedures preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is desirable preferred.
· Proficiency in documenting user journey map and requirements, process flows, and use cases using industry-standard tools.
