-Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental Regulations and statutory requirements.
-Conducts regular site safety inspections and enforce compliance with
prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
-Liaise and coordinate closely with main contractor on Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan drills.
-Recommend/take reasonably practical action to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace.
-Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management standards.
-Lead daily Toolbox meetings, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at worksite。
-Coordinate WSH programme initiatives.
-Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
-Evaluate the impact of health hazards to employees' safety and prioritise issues based on severity.
-Carry out training to all workers, staff and site personnel on EHS.
-Maintain WSHMS documentation.
-Conduct incident/accident investigation and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence.
-Actively conduct MSRA review and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks on site.
-Inspect and examine workplace records, certificates, notices and documents kept.
-Assist in EHS planning and training and incident prevention.
-Perform daily workplace inspections and rectify any unsafe practices and conditions.
-Ensure and enforce safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
-All other ad-hoc duties as gazette in the Regulations
-Other duties assigned by superior.
