A Market Leader with retail and investment footprints across Asia Pacific. Due to business needs, we are seeking committed professional to join the team as Accountant!
Budget for this role: S$5800
Responsibilities:
- Review the preparation of monthly reports and commentaries and quarterly reporting by Accounts Executive/ Assistant Accountant.
- Involve in the preparation of quarterly forecast reviews and yearly budget for the Retail Group.
- Prepare management reports for actual, budget and forecast with details down to season and style, as well as handle operational matters, cashflow forecast and management for a company within the group.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, addressing the audit issues, working with the operations team to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Handle tax and other statutory reporting.
- Review and streamline the existing accounting processes, SOP and tasks while ensuring internal controls are adhered to.
- Any ad hoc duties as and when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent.
- 3 years of working experience in the related field, preferably with audit experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, tax and GST rules and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Independent and good team player
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills
