Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare internal reports & documents, such as Sales Plans / Tender Evaluation / Risk Evaluations etc. Training will be provided.
2. Maintain and upkeep BD documents and archives, such as Project list, Company presentations & Marketing materials etc.
3. Business Proposals - Pre-Qualification, quotations and Tenders: Gather information / supporting documents from various departments, input and manage submissions (hard copies / via e-platform such as Ariba, Gebiz etc.)
4. Sending out customer satisfaction survey forms to client / Project Managers and tabulate report bi-annually
5. Proactively source for new business opportunities through contacts & referrals, follow-up on project leads and pipeline
6. Maintain good relationship and contact with clients & consultants
7. Identify and research on potential clients’ company and financial background etc.
8. Gather market intelligence such as project / competitors’ information etc., and carry out activities based on company’s business strategy and plans
9. Assist to come up with new business strategy and plans
10. Understanding of the construction industry, keep abreast of market activities
11. Co-ordinate between client & internal stakeholders and arrange for meetings / attend site visits & tender interviews
12. Any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirement :
1. Diploma / Degree in Business / Engineering or equivalent discipline
2. At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development / Business Administration / Sales, in the Engineering / Construction industry
3. Proficient in Microsoft software (such as Powerpoints, Excel, Words etc.)
4. Strong Communication Skills, Presentation skills, Sales Skills including Relationship Building, Strategic Thinking, Team player and customer oriented
5. Proactive, Self-motivated, Passionate with a positive working attitude
6. M&E Technical knowledge is not a must, but a plus point
7. Existing relationship with the key industry players is a plus point
