The Division of Supportive and Palliative Care is conducting research projects to improve health services for patients with cancer and other serious illnesses. The projects aim to develop, evaluate and implement novel models of healthcare service delivery for palliative care.
The research coordinator will perform a variety of activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or their designate:
- Conduct literature reviews
- Screen and recruit patients/ research participants
- Conduct semi-structured interviews with patients/ research participants
- Attend to the administrative and logistic needs of research projects
- Assess patients for supportive and palliative care needs and manage any identified needs
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science related degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skill, able to interact and manage participants and clinicians at all levels
- Motivated, independent and hardworking individual with a keen interest to learn and gain experience in health services research
