Responsibilities:
- Assist with reviews and follow up on key policies and procedures (e.g DOA and Revenue Recognition)
- Assist and support internal/external audits, tax investigation and audits
- Provide ideas to help drive best practice across all internal and external governance requirements
- Assist with GST checking for quarterly preparation and submission
- Fixed asset checking – coordinate with SSC and IT/Admin/Procurement on documentation completeness; Year end fixed asset movement working for audit/tax computation
- AP – coordinate with SSC to clear old outstanding’s in AP aging; assist with year end audit by providing supporting documentation
- Balance sheet schedule reconciliation – coordinate with SSC to tidy up (including payroll burden)
- Maintain Accounting records
- Assist location with treasury and operations team interface
- Complete assigned GL day to day required activities, month end closing process and draft journals
- Assist statutory audits and prepare necessary schedules required for audit. Assist in preparing financial statements for audit
- Assist and prepare timely submission of monthly and quarterly management reports required
- Assist/prepare inputs for cash flow forecasting reports
- Assist to analyses key accounts and explain variances for month end
- Assist to prepare journal voucher for General Ledger
- Help to verify AP invoices and any staff expense claims (e.g project type enquiries, Coding etc.)
- Assist in forecasting/budget exercises for entity
- Assist tax agent in preparation of file Estimated Chargeable Income Tax computation
- Complete assigned Hyperion month end activities as required, including HFM schedules
- Complete any ad-hoc reports/assignments as requested
- Assist to prepare various government surveys
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or its equivalent
- Full set account, general/basic Taxation (GST/WHT/VAT), AP/AR, Balance sheet schedules
- Familiar with ERP system such as Oracle, Sage, Hyperion would be an advantage
- Ability to interact effectively with people. Clear, fluent and expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas
- Ability to work with minimum supervison, eye to details & good team work
- To Support financial audit as required or any ad-hoc task
- Good time keeping and prioritization skills
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experiences
