We manufacture engine parts including components for PurePower® engines, as well as operate businesses that provide aircraft engines and parts repair and overhaul.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise repair cell; group leaders, technicians and repair specialists, to meet cell targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery.
  • Assist manager in production and overtime schedules and procedures, as well as support cell leader on manpower and resources planning.
  • Implement management tools to track production activities, material flow and inventory used by the cells to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Develop & maintain adequate repair process control to achieve consistent quality products.
  • Track production and repair yield and quality targets set by management.
  • Enhance current repair procedures & improve process robustness & output, through process improvement and standard work.
  • Work with the various business functions such as Engineering, Quality, HR, ROCs and Materials to achieve department objectives and company’s goals
  • Actively engage and participate in company initiatives such as Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), Technology & Automation and Lean manufacturing activities
  • Support capacity ramp up initiatives through workforce hiring, planned skills training, resource scheduling and development programs.
  • Assist the Department Manager in performance reviews on a regular basis in order to facilitate or maintain a high operating efficiency for the repair cells
  • Develop potential talent in pipeline and champion employee development to ensure repair team stability and continuity.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager


Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Production Engineering with 3 years of relevant aviation experience
  • Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair work process will be advantageous.
  • Ability to perform basic machining on components using the Lathe, Milling, Jig Bore, EDM and Grinding machines will be advantageous.
  • Ability to perform basic bench repair on components will be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Analytical with strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong drive for success
  • Good team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills
