Job Overview:
The APAC Lead will be working with our partner to open operations in the APAC region, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's expansion strategy, establishing a strong market presence, and achieving sustainable growth in this region.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct thorough market research to understand the local business environment,
consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscape in the APAC region.
Analyse market data to identify opportunities, risks, and potential barriers to entry.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence in the
APAC region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and
distribution channels. Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients and
expand relationships with existing clients that may have a presence in the region.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of employees to support the company's
operations in the APAC region. Identify talent needs, define job roles and
responsibilities, and provide training and development opportunities to build a high-
performing team.
• Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the company's
objectives in the APAC region. Monitor progress against strategic goals and key
performance indicators. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management
on the status of operations, market trends, and business performance.
• Develop and articulate compelling product strategies and visions, grounded in deep
market and user understanding. Identify product localisation needs for the APAC
market and work closely with the wider product, design, engineering and testing
teams to ensure the best possible product market fit, cohesive product development
and go-to-market strategies.
• Create and maintain the product roadmap for the APAC region, ensuring alignment
with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications:
Education Level:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Experience:
• Previous entrepreneurial experience launching a company or launching and owning a
large new vertical of an existing business
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, product development, cybersecurity
compliance, and team leadership
Specific Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of business development in Legal Tech SaaS sector
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of product management in Legal Tech SaaS sector
Certifications: Professional Certificate from University of Law
