Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Company located at TUAS
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on Capability Development for New Vehicles, particularly Electric Vehicles.
- Conduct high-value component fault finding, diagnosis, and repair, including engine, turbo system, CAN bus, etc.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Vehicle System Overview, with a deep understanding of interlink and interlock systems on Commercial Vehicles.
- Perform Defect Trend Analysis to identify and address recurring issues.
- Lead technical investigations and discussions to resolve complex problems.
- Lead and oversee the Diagnostic Team to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage Fleet Management studies, including operation vs. durability assessments.
- Prepare and submit detailed Technical Reports.
- Provide technical training and guidance to technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Source solutions to enhance product durability and reliability.
- Provide repair and servicing support to the workshop when necessary.
- Offer expert advice and conduct in-depth troubleshooting on technical issues raised by the team, utilizing electronic diagnostic tools as needed.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy and precision of all recorded repair findings, rectifications, images, voice messages, or other relevant details.
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the Technical or Operation Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering (Automotive / Electrical) / Relevant working experience
- Able to use Electronic Diagnostic tools
- Able to understand Engineering systems theory, Mechanical, Electrical and Electrical drawings
- Experience in leading a team of technicians, briefing and guidance of technicians, distribution and control of works
- Preferably possess Class 5 license (Heavy Vehicle)
