Responsibilities
- Leadership for Electrical engineering team to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
- Lead and prepare overall concept.
- Lead and prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs) and review specifications.
- Lead for electrical tender proposal for EPC tender.
- Review technical proposals from OEMs to ensure compliance to our design requirement.
- Plan for Master document List.
- Plan for manpower loading.
- Review cable routing and BOQ, leading engineers and drafters.
- Lead the engineering design of the following activities:
- Ability to design of 230kV, 66kV, and 6.6kV power supply system including;
- Sizing of generator, transformers, and UPS/DC
- Power Generation System
- Overall Single Line
- Power system Analysis by ETAP
- Protection coordination
- Cable Sizing
- HV, MV and LV distribution system
- UPS/DC system
- Solar System
- PMS
- Electrical Room layout
- Cable and Busduct Management System
- Familiar to the following Equipment and System;
- Steam/Gas turbine generator
- EDG (Emergency diesel generator)
- GCB/TCB/UCB
- GSUT/UAT/AT transformers
- MV/LV VSDs
- IPBD/SBPD/LV Busduct
- HV/MV/LV Switchgear and MCC
- Civil interface for pull pit and penetration.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of relevant experience as Leader or Senior Electrical Engineer in EPC project for Power, Petrochemical and/or Waste-to-Energy plants
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Strong EPC background
- Strong leadership for people management
- Familiar with industrial standard, e.g, ISO, IEEE, and etc. and Singapore standard, e.g SS638
- Familiar with statutory Regulation or Code, like Singapore transmission code. etc.
- Able to work in collaboration with various disciplines
- Able to interface seamlessly with engineering, construction, and operations contractors
- Able to work in on-site construction environment
