Responsibilities
- Lead/Develop Equipment Layout and Piping Arrangement for tendering and project execution
- Lead engineers and drafters to optimize and generate Plant Layout and Piping arrangement on time
- Lead/Develop 2D and 3D model for MEP, engaging Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Lead/Develop/Coordinate BIM model, engaging Revit
- Lead/Develop PFD and P&ID generation with minimum input from Process Engineering
- Develop/Mange project piping specifications
- Take ownership on developing BOQ for pipe, fitting and valves
- Manage and check technical information of external suppliers of equipment and systems and coordinate/cooperate with engineers from other trades in the organization
- Check drawings/documents and material list and ensure that they conform to contractual technical specifications, installation control documents and Statutory Rules/Regulations
- Point of contact with contractor to provide design and engineering solutions onsite
- Participate in tests and trials, where required
Requirements
- At least 10 years as Mechanical Component Engineer and Piping Engineer in EPC project for Power, Petrochemical, Water and/or Waste-to-Energy plants
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge of international design codes, e.g., EN, ISO, ASME and etc
- Strong EPC background
- In depth experience and competency with utilizing Autodesk Revit modelling and AutoCAD software as well as some knowledge of BIM Administrator
- Ability to lead and guide engineers and drafters
- Open minded and able to adopt different ideas for implementations
- Team player
