Min Qualifications / Experience :
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant experience
Job Skills Required :
Good knowledge on production process, material requirement, code requirement of pressure vessel and market intelligence skill.
Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities are:
a) Build and reinforce existing customer relationship.
b) Supervise, check and guide the Proposal Engineers in their work.
c) Upon receipt of enquiry, study the specification, drawings and requirements for preparation of costing.
d) Co-ordinate and liaise with Project, Procurement, QA/QC and Design department regarding the feasibility of the enquiry.
e) Responsible for sourcing prices of material and services from local/overseas vendor and subcontractors and to consult procurement department if required. Responsible for material price collection and analysis.
f) Perform material take-off including man-hour allocation, code requirement, NDT etc.
g) Drafting of quotation for review by General Manager.
h) Conduct follow-up with client/customer after submission of quotation and provide feedback.
i) To review contract, prepare project card and organize/conduct internal kick-off meeting upon receipt of order.
j) Attend technical/commercial meeting and kick-off meeting with client when required.
k) Responsible for the completion of technical/commercial questionnaires and to consult QA/QC, Project, Design, Procurement & Finance departments if required.
l) To coordinate with the Project Department on the variation orders for on-going projects.
m) To prepare the project budget for awarded job after the kick off meeting.
n) Any adhoc project assigned by Business Development Manager.
