PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT

Job Descriptions:

  • Handle all purchasing duties
  • Prepare, review and place purchase orders
  • Assist in Schedule purchases and arrivals
  • Maintain inventory
  • Coordinate with internal parties involved in procurement matters
  • Maintain and update purchasing documents/ records and approved external provider list
  • Ensure purchasing functions conformance to plant requirements
  • Build and maintain good relationship with current and new vendors
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks and activities assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/ Purchasing or equivalent
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Basic mathematical knowledge
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
  • Meticulous with good organization, negotiation and analytical skill
  • Commitment and initiatives to complete any urgent tasks timely
  • Good time management
  • Being able to start work immediately would be advantage.
  • Must be able to travel overseas for purchasing
