Asia Pacific Marketing is a key function within the DHL Supply Chain APAC Growth Team.

We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to work as our Assistant Manager, Marketing, Asia Pacific.

Within this role you will develop, lead and direct complex marketing campaigns from brief to execution. You will need to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and influence their understanding of the role marketing can play in achieving success through the development of effective campaign plans, supported with clear, measurable objectives. You will be required to manage virtual delivery teams made up of global and regional marketers, comms professionals, product and sector experts, giving clear, decisive and thoughtful direction on individual projects and objectives.

Responsibilities

Marketing campaigns

  • Champion customer centric, insight driven, digitally enabled marketing
  • In charge of designing and delivering regional marketing campaigns; working with stakeholders to define the brief, measurable marketing objectives, plans and deliverables
  • Lead virtual teams of regional and local marketers and comms professionals for delivery
  • Work with global and cross business unit marketers to leverage assets and align messaging
  • Track progress against plan, budget and provide regular reports to key stakeholders
  • Manage sector-specific marketing budget

Brand and content creation

  • Educate colleagues on the global brand guidelines and processes
  • Work with global content team and outsourced partners to ensure our content, assets and messages deliver against individual campaign briefs, as well as support global messaging requirements
  • Create and update customer-facing content on our global asset repository
  • Work with local and regional subject matter experts for thought leadership content to position DHL in media, industry publications, social and more

Sales partnership

  • Promote the use of tools, resources and processes to support growth team efficiency
  • Support customer satisfaction, retention and account growth through joint marketing initiatives
  • Work with customer's marketing teams on co-branded press releases and marketing efforts

Events and Communications

  • Oversee our involvement in industry events and DHL customer events – from assessing suitability of event, target audience, creating thought-leadership content to leads management
  • Work with DHL Group corporate communications team to build profiles of key stakeholders in media
  • Provide functional teams with guidance on key regional customer communications

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience developing and delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Excellent team player and motivator, prepared to lead from the front and to cheerlead
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field preferred
  • Proven event management experience
  • Strong project management, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience of working in a global, regional and country environments including virtual, cross-cultural teams will be a plus
  • Establish clear, challenging and achievable objectives
  • Align resources and the organization within own area of responsibility to achieve objectives
  • Regularly review and communicate progress against objectives and adjust as needed
  • Champions continuous improvement and innovation
  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus
