Working Hours –5.5 days Mon - Fri / Sat until 1 pm
Before Surgery :
-Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for procedures.
-Document vital signs, explain procedure details to patients, and administer intravenous therapy and medication.
-Assist in transferring patients to the operating room, and may perform wound cleaning and equipment sterilization.
-Communicate with families and update them on patients' conditions.
After Surgery :
-Post-surgery, recovery nurses serve as primary caregivers.
-Monitor vital signs, change bandages, and provide comfort to patients awakening from anesthesia.
-Conduct tests, analyze lab results, and report findings to surgeons and physicians.
-Monitor patients' progress and ensure they receive adequate rest, nutrition, and hydration.
-Educate patients on wound care, medication administration, and self-care post-discharge.
