Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to develop and manage CFS’s strategic roadmap for development and partnerships. With Singapore’s plans to become a regional philanthropy hub, CFS plays an important role in inspiring strategic philanthropy across a growing segment of family offices. The main responsibility is to engage, cultivate and deepen relationships with the partners and prospects to build donor pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore synergies with key stakeholders and develop and mange long-term growth strategies with institutions to expand the reach of CFS.
- Develop and manage relationships with multipliers (statutory boards, financial institutions, law firms).
- Identify and cultivate new sources of prospects to expand donor pipeline and support the sustainability of CFS (banks, trust companies, legal advisors, SMEs, trade associations).
- Articulate customised pitches and proposals to integrate philanthropy to wealth and financial planning.
- Articulate customised pitches and proposals to prospects on legacy giving.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop CFS’s Legacy Giving strategy.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging multipliers’ network and resources for speaking opportunities, press and collaterals.
- Project manage partner and prospects’ engagement touchpoints and work plan.
- Prepare regular updates to partners and multipliers.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess engagement, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Lead organisational projects that improves partner and donor conversion rates.
Competencies:
- A Diploma or Degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualifications.
- A team player, with experience working with a high degree of independence in a time-sensitive environment.
- At least 8 years of experience working in an advisory role, foundation, business development, fundraising or front-facing client relations role.
- Superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work with diverse audiences, senior corporate leaders and HNWIs.
- Familiarity with the philanthropic, non-profit sector and major sources of wealth would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of confidentiality; agile and flexible thinker able to thrive in a fluid work environment.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise information towards a longer-term objective.
