Job Purpose
- Support finance team in timely provision and analysis of financial reports.
- Responsible for cash flow management of AR and AP, GST compliance, tax computation and filing, and preparation of statutory accounts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for financial and management accounting functions and ensure smooth financial closing/reporting.
- Hands-on accounting operations and administration, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition.
- Responsible for preparation of regulatory reporting, sound technical knowledge and application to handle technical accounting issues required for new and existing accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and direct preparation of financial consolidation and report, business review, budget preparation and analysis of significant variances.
- Publish timely monthly financial statements, providing key business trends, underlying performance, tactical financial initiatives.
- Responsible for GST and tax submission to IRAS.
- Grant application, claim submission and management.
- Management of external auditors, including audit process requirements and preparation of schedules.
- Handle AR receipts including sales invoices and CN issuance; AP payments preparations including PV and bank transfers
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Accounting/ ACCA.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Min. 3-5 years of combined international audit firm exposure, accounting/ finance with consolidation of accounts experience.
- Excellent spreadsheet, analytical skills, resourceful, processes good problem-solving capability, positive, willing to stretch and embrace challenges.
- Experienced in systems implementation and project management within stipulated timelines.
