Job Summary:
The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for providing expert technical advice, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting services for
turbomachinery equipment. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their machinery operates efficiently, reliably, and safely. The engineer will also support the design and implementation of upgrades and modifications to improve equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide immediate technical support and troubleshooting advice for clients experiencing equipment issues. Diagnose problems remotely or on-site and recommend or implement solutions.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work on turbomachinery. Ensure that work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements or preventive maintenance actions.
- Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new turbomachinery equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational specifications.
- Customer Training: Conduct training sessions for clients’ operational and maintenance staff, improving their understanding of the equipment and its proper care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of service activities, technical issues, and customer interactions. Prepare and submit reports on activities, findings, and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes, tools, and technologies. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in turbomachinery design and maintenance.
