- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
- Predict resources needed to complete project
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
- Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Manage costs in order to meet budget
- Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Coordinate efforts across entire project between clients’ project team, professional engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Supervise site works to achieve good quality
- Identify and resolve site technical problems
- Other ad-hoc duties
Job Requirement:
· Diploma or Degree in Building Construction, Construction Management or Architecture
· 5-7 years of experience in project management within construction
· Good in reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
· Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
· Strong leadership and management skills
· Good problem solving skill and able to address potential issues proactively
· Good in communication skill (verbal & written) and interpersonal skill
