Job Description:
- Review the basic process design from the proposal/sales team;
- Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on project specification;
- Prepare engineering calculations and equipment sizing;
- Review and understand project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications;
- Prepare equipment datasheets (valve list, equipment list, piping schedule, instrument list, etc);
- Supervise and review complex equipment skid 3D model to ensure compliance with project specification;
- Supervise the preparation of general arrangement drawings, piping detail drawings; skid structure arrangement drawings;
- Interface with EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation) engineer in preparation of project documents;
- Send inquiries to vendors to obtain price quotations;
- Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications;
- Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Participate in internal and external design reviews;
- Prepare O&M manuals;
- Support testing and commissioning
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment;
- Experience in the O&G industry is a plus;
- Experience in the design of complex skid-based industrial water treatment systems;
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Knowledge of industry standards and specifications;
- Able to work in multi-cultural teams;
- Proficient in MS Office applications;
- Willing to travel
