The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. Over the years, SBS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.

Join Professor Gerhard GrĂ¼ber's laboratory at the School of Biological Sciences and contribute to groundbreaking research focused on the investigation and characterization of mycobacterial proteins. As a Research Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the investigation and characterization of mycobacterial proteins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to elucidate the biochemical and functional properties of mycobacterial proteins
  • Utilize techniques such as cloning, expression, protein purification, enzymatic assays, and lab organization to advance project goals
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve research objectives and contribute to a stimulating research environment

Job Requirements:

  • Masters of Science (MSc) with extensive technical expertise in cloning, expression, protein purification, and enzymatic assays
  • Proven track record of success in laboratory organization and management
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
