Resilient Value Chain (RVC) division of SIMTech A*STAR is searching for an Enterprise Software Developer to work on research and development of technologies for effective management of logistics and end-to-end order fulfillment, towards responsive and resilient value chain.
Responsibilities:
The key roles & responsibilities are as follows:
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and costs constraints
- Develop generic and configurable software (e.g. generic and configurable web application, native/hybrid mobile application) and design database
- Implement AI/machine learning algorithm/models in software solutions for logistics planning and order fulfillment applications
- Use scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design, and optimize the enterprise software system performance
- System integration, debugging, testing and deployment
- Customer technical support and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Operations Research/management or relevant disciplines.
Experience with the following will be an advantage:
- Development of software solutions for enterprise decision support/making, especially logistics related applications
- Mobile applications development for Android or IOS applications
- Web application development with .Net
- Design Patterns, Microservice architecture, container technology and MVC.
- Programming with python, C#, Java, Java Script or other related language.
- RESTful APIs and relational databases
- Angular and Kendo UI, HTML programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Good work ethics, good communication and interpersonal skill, willing to learn new programming skills
- Can do attitude and happy to interface with multiple parties.
