About the Role:

Overall drive the implementation and maintenance of business applications for StarMed Specialist Centre (StarMed) and ensure it is delivered as per users’ expectations, most importantly meet the business objectives.

He / She will be providing daily IT Helpdesk service and any related applications support to StarMed such as Clinic Management Systems (CMS), Radiology PACS system, Operation Theatre (OT) system, Endoscopy system and etc. The person is also responsible to manage the CMS change requests / service request, critical issues and daily IT Service Desk support.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. The person shall endeavor to gain a strong understanding of StarMed workflow and key functions, and observe, discuss with the department heads/key users on potential areas of improvement, where IT/Digital solutions can be introduced to improve:

· Customer experience

· Patient safety

· Revenue generation

· Cost saving

· Staff efficiency and productivity

2. Working closely with StarMed administrators and staffs in designated area(s) to understand and interpret user needs at a division level and to collaborate across lines in meeting those needs.

3. To maintain an in-depth knowledge of full scope CMS functionalities and system configuration, Project Management Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Good knowledge of various business application architecture, Data analytic/Business Intelligence, integration with 3rd party applications and medical equipment, as well as latest digital health trend.

4. Participate in the evaluation and potential implementation of a new software at StarMed, and work with the team to achieve the targeted operational improvement/KPIs.

5. Participates in the IT planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP); implements tracking and evaluation programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.

6. To liaise with vendors, digital team and stakeholders (doctors/staffs), and study users’ “pain” points & wish list; to be part of the team to evaluate the suitable application and reliable digital solutions to meet users’ expectation and company’s KPI.

7. Provides technical liaison on a variety of medical specialized project-related activities requiring expertise in specific technical areas for core information technology systems and services.

8. To execute HMI business application & digital initiatives in StarMed in an efficient manner leveraging on the subject matter expertise, streamlined work processes and IT best practices. The implementation cycle shall cover from project kick-off, system configuration, 3rd party system interface including externally subscribed cloud services, change management, data migration, User Acceptance Test (UAT), till system Go-Live.

9. Participate in review of HMI Implementation methodology and champion the project documentation in StarMed such as gap analysis report, User Requirement Study (URS), testing/quality control, training plan & user guide, UAT script, Cut-Live plan and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) / Code White procedure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in healthcare industry.
  • Has experience in Radiology setting will be an added advantage.
  • Is a team player and can work independently when required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit to a 5.5 day work week, office hours.
