Engineer
Mechanical servicing company at Gul Circle, requires Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Ensure services offered to the customer are within the scope and capability of the company.
· Prepare proposal / quotation for the RFQ sent by client, submit to client for approval and communicate with client closely for their requirements & schedule.
· Responsible to answer / reply customer enquiry and email.
· Review customers' job orders, contracts and renewal of any of these documents to ensure the requirements are clearly understood and agreed by both parties.
· Plan and control operations (service, purchasing, arrangements for delivery / collection) under his charge.
· Prepare daily reports according to job requirements.
· Ensure that customer's requirements are adequately conveyed to the appropriate personnel concerned.
· Cooperating and communicating with the manager, other participants and collaborating with teammates.
· Review and approve specifications related to any changes in the services provided
· Establishing Work Procedures and Instructions.
· Willing to follow site / yard safety regulations.
· Ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
· Singaporean or PR only.
· Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering.
· 2+ years’ experience in marine shipyard industry.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, supervision, time management and decision making skills.
· Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of using Word, Excel, Email and other common software.
· Able to communicate in English at all levels, strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Physically fit and in good health.
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision, initiative and able to do multitask.
· Training on work-related knowledge will be provided.
· This job may require some overtime work, weekends/public holidays when required, OT will be given.
Attractive Remuneration:
· Basic Monthly Salary S$ 2,500 to S$ 3,500 + OT - (depends on relevant experience)
Working Hours:
· 5.5 days per week (Mon – Fri 08:00AM to 05:00PM, Sat 08:00AM to 12:00PM)
· This job may require some overtime work when required, OT will be given.
