Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive briefings on policies and procedures.
- Evaluate senior officers’ performance.
- Provide training and mentoring in line with industry standards.

- Coordinate ship repairs with engineers and contractors.
- Evaluate maintenance tenders and ensure standards are met.
- Monitor and address ship defects.
- Conduct risk analysis for breakdowns and damages.
- Track operational costs and report on budget performance.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and targets.
- Plan resources to support vessel operations.
Requirements:
- Experience as Chief Engineer onboard Ocean-going vessels / Class 1 COC Master Mariner with prior sailing as Master
- Digital fluency skills – IT knowledge of Microsoft tools (excel, word, power point).
- Good communication skills – written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems, knowledge of technical, procurement & logistics processes
- Growth and learning attitude.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
