- Maintain the company's Fixed Assets Register, ensuring all assets are properly recorded through an Annual Physical Count.
- Assist in closing monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts accurately and on time, reporting to local auditors and Headquarters in Japan.
- Resolve any discrepancies swiftly to meet deadlines, collaborating with relevant parties to prevent future issues.
- Collect and organize data for reporting in the Statutory Audited Report.
- Coordinate with auditors and legal counsel to ensure accurate documentation for annual accounts.
- Review and update operational procedures and controls documentation.
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and prepare tax and audit schedules.
- Support divisions in processing transactions and completing month-end closing tasks.
- Undertake additional tasks or projects as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in related industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- SAP Experience is an advantage
