Responsibilities:
- System Sherlock: Dive deep into existing systems and processes, uncovering areas ripe for improvement, identifying bottlenecks, and pinpointing opportunities for integrating new tech.
- Teamwork Champion: Collaborate closely with diverse teams spanning R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to craft and seamlessly integrate cutting-edge system solutions. These solutions aim to bolster product quality, streamline manufacturing, and amp up cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation Guru: Develop and maintain crystal-clear technical documents, system requirements, and specifications for both internal and external teams.
- Testing Virtuoso: Design and execute rigorous testing procedures for new systems and updates. Dive into test data to sleuth out performance snags and ensure systems meet the gold standard of established norms.
- Project Sidekick: Be a crucial player in project management tasks. This includes crafting timelines, assessing risks, and deftly allocating resources to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of system solutions.
- Trend Tracker & Innovator: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and emerging technologies. By proposing and evaluating leading-edge solutions, you'll drive continuous improvement in production processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a big plus.
- Experience: You're a seasoned pro with at least 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a closely related field within the manufacturing sector, ideally in consumer electronics.
- Tech Savvy: Fluent in systems analysis methodologies, programming languages like Python and C++, system modeling tools, and database management (SQL). Bonus points for experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills are your forte, allowing you to seamlessly collaborate within dynamic cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Pro: You're armed with an analytical mindset, boasting proven troubleshooting and optimization skills geared toward system-level solutions.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Project Management Pro: Certifications such as PMP would be a great asset.
- Automation Aficionado: Experience with automation and robotics in the manufacturing realm is highly valued.
- Agile Advocate: Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
