Established in 1948, YHI was listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) on 3rd July 2003. YHI Group is a recognized distributor of high quality automotive and industrial products, and a familiar and trusted name in alloy wheels manufacturing as an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM).

Today, YHI's wide international presence can be seen in over 100 countries operating through its 32 subsidiaries and two associated companies located in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. YHI distributes a diverse range of premium automotive products, which include tyres, alloy wheels, energy solutions, buggy & utilities vehicles and other industrial products to more than 5,000 customers globally. YHI currently has three alloy wheels manufacturing plants located in Suzhou in China, Taoyuan in Taiwan and Malacca in Malaysia.

The Job

The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Department and be responsible for the sales of a range of automotive products such as tyres, lubricant oil and batteries for the Singapore market as well as performing other marketing-related activities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To secure sales for new accounts of car and motorcycle workshops
  • To promote automotive tyres, lubricant oil and battery products
  • To plan and execute marketing programmes (including roadshows and trade fairs) as required
  • To assist in order planning and liaising with suppliers
  • To visit workshops to continually prospect and qualify new customers
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive sales or FMCG. Those with experience in lubricant oil or automotive tyres are highly preferred
  • Must possess a Class 3 driving licence
  • A company van will be provided for the candidate without own vehicle or Transport allowance will be given if the candidate possesses own vehicle
  • Must possess good negotiation skills with customers and results-oriented attributes

  • Office location: 2 Pandan Road S(609254)
  • Working hours: 8.30am to 6.09pm (Mon Fri)
  • Sales commission, mobile reimbursement and transport allowance are provided
