JOB DESCRIPTION
- Fully responsible to lead the sales team for the retail sales operations
- Fully responsible to achieve and increase the target.
- Getting customers exact requirement and fulfil their expectation.
- Train and streamline new sales staffs on sales techniques and operational duties.
- Appraisal of Jewells and other ornaments. Do small minor Jewellery works.
- Negotiate with customers to ensure the sales.
- Always have a smiling face with good intension at heart to help customers to improve business.
- Continuously upgrade quality of customer service.
- Plan and improve the existing business strategies to increase sales.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and delivery schedules, merchandising techniques
- Working with accounting and management team to set budgets.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Budgeting and forecasting for the business
- Ensuring retail shop has enough stock for sales and necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained.
- Maintain an optimum inventory that is always having enough stock for sales at the same time there should be no stock overflow.
- Planning, scheduling, and promoting events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations.
- Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating employees, taking corrective action when necessary
- Weekly 6 days needs to work from Shop opening to Shop closing(10 am to 10 pm with 2 hours break, Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays work compulsory)
RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER - REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum education ‘A’ Level / Higher Secondary
- Expected a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Jewellery Retail Sales/Showroom Supervisor. Prefer experiences in Singapore, Malaysia and India
- Experience in jewellery management, financial reporting and stock reporting compulsory.
- Experience in product information associated with the jewellery, including the type of metal, stone, design, brand, style or other attributes, as well as, warranty information and certificates.
- Must have a clear knowledge and experience with Platinum, Gold, Silver, Gem Stones, Sapphire, diamond, ruby, pearl, emerald, cats-eye, coral, topaz. Able to appraise Jewells and other ornamental prices.
- Must have very good communication skills. Must have experience in small Jewellery repairing works.
- Experience in the serial number is used as a unique identifier to track the product’s movement throughout the retail environment, from receiving, to store transfers, to bin placement and final sale
- Experience in replenishment system that identifies which items are selling and which are stagnant that way you can replenish profit-bearing items more efficiently while eliminating slow moving stock, that is better buying decisions and higher profit margins
- Train and streamline newly recruited staffs in business operations.
- Must work Weekly 6 days from Shop opening to Shop closing(10 am to 10 pm with 2 hours break, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays must work)
