Our client is a leading global provider of electronics and communication systems and equipment to the maritime and oil & gas industry. They’re on a look out for Project technicians/engineers to join their team during an exciting time in their development.
about the job
- Be involved in all stages of projects; plan and executive projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in the production, service, installation, Field construction, Plant commissioning, Sea Trials and Inspection of supplied products.
- Review vendor’s documents and to coordinate works between vendors and different discipline engineers
- Requisition equipment and materials.
- Perform technical evaluation of installation control and design interface documents of equipment to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- May act as Technical Consultant in specific areas of expertise.
- Conduct training for Technicians and authorized dealers when required
- Maintain good project documentation and be familiar with ISO documentation requirements
- Test & verify deliveries in accordance with plans and procedures.
job requirement
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Electrical/Communication/Marine Engineering
- Must be comfortable with being hands on (occasional activation to onsite work)
- Preferably possess experience with marine/navigational/communicational products or experience in the marine/maritime industry
- Willing to work in the East
*OT pay will be applicable (transportation provided to/fro site).
