Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the work of and in-house workers.
- Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.
- Cooperate with safety personnel to ensure adherence to health and safety at all times.
- Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers on the daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversions, drainage and pavement work and etc.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
- Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of strict deadlines.
- Perform equipment, materials, and routine inspections.
- To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
- Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
- Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
- Responsible for manpower planning and usage at site.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering
- Candidate with Certificate in Pavement Construction & Maintenance will be an added advantage
- Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills
