As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key contributor to ensuring that KOMPAN is successful at implementing its outdoor playground and fitness solutions locally in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing local contracts and commercial risk.
- Drive contract negotiation and minimize contract risk.
- Responsible for continuously monitoring of contract deliverables and project milestones to avoid any delay and project risks.
- Provide contractual advice to different stakeholders which may arise over the project duration.
- Responsible for the tendering and estimating process of a project.
- Assist in preparing documents for tender submission.
- Generate and issue Purchase Order, Letter of Award or Letter of Intend to vendors and factory.
- Manage EOT, progress claim, VO submission and final account with client.
- Manage and liaise with HQ finance department and bank for bank guarantees and performance bonds.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the building construction industry in Singapore, with preference for experience with a Main Contractor.
- Experienced in tendering for projects.
- Profound knowledge of local building contracts, contract negotiation and administration.
- Strong legal/contract analytical skills with a good eye for details and sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law.
- Experience working in a multinational company is preferred.
- Good organizational, time-management, and project-management capabilities.
- Capable of autonomously executing tasks with minimal oversight, demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong team player.
Education and IT/Software Skills:
- Microsoft Office.
- CRM and ERP experience preferable.
- Basic AutoCAD skills are an advantage.
