Responsibilities:
- Prepare, check and approve electrical drawings and documents
- Manage and lead a small team of engineers and drafters to fulfil project schedule and address technical issues raised by clients and other stakeholders
- Review vendor drawings and documents
- Evaluate technical proposals from vendors and suppliers to ensure technical compliance
- Provide engineering support throughout the project to multidisciplinary sections, procurement, project team, site production team, commissioning activities etc.
- Perform engineering design work including electrical calculations for cable sizing, equipment sizing, voltage drop calculations, etc.
- Participate and witness FATs, inspections, tests, sea trials, etc.
- Organize and chair meetings with clients and stakeholders to address technical queries and discussion in order to meet project contractual specifications and class requirements
- Assist in the administration, coordination, liaison between all stakeholders
Requirements:
- Min Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering
- Experience in Electrical Design and or switchboard design is an advantage
- Electrical Marine experience is also advantage
