Job scope:
- Take charge of all people matters in Singapore and other regions like Hong Kong, Dubai and Shanghai.
- Supervise and train the HR Specialist located in Singapore.
- Lead all the onboarding and off boarding activities for employees to ensure consistency.
- Manage all compliance and regulatory requests including regular reporting and conducting requested audits.
- Manage all immigration matters, partnering with our third-party immigration law firm to include applying for visas, and tracking the activity across the region.
- Leverage tools to provide metrics and reporting
- Collaborate with global HR team members, daily and on projects.
- Work with regional office management team on employee matters and office issues.
- Support and approve the payrolls for region, working closely with the HR Specialist and the Payroll team.
- Handle People Development and attend to any employee issues/concerns
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight years of HR experience in Singapore and overall region required.
- Analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solver with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Ability to drive to results, in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative-taking and disciplined individual with analytical skills; capability to work independently as well as in teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Works well under pressure; flexible work style and approach, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workday highly preferred.
