Job Description
The Department of Chemistry is seeking Assistant Professor in Catalysis/Polymer Chemistry/Material Sciences with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience to join NUS Chemistry.
The candidate is expected to lead an independent internationally research group in his/her field and be competitive for external research funding. Aside from research, the candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervise undergraduate, master and doctoral students. Other non- exhaustive responsibilities may include administrative position in the department.
Qualifications
Qualification / Discipline: PhD from USA / Europe Universities
Experience:
- The candidate should possess at least 2-3 years of post-doctoral experience from reputable Universities and has mentored undergraduate or graduate students.
- Teaching experiences as a teaching assistant during Ph.D. studies is preferred.
- Good publications
