The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of Philips Audio & Accessories. She/he is tasked to optimize sales value through building strong relationships with existing key accounts, while expanding customer base to cover unaddressed markets/ channels.
The Sales Manager reports to the Singapore and Export Market Sales Leader. In the execution of daily business operations, she/he will need to interact with internal functions of Marketing, Supply Chain, Regional Product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales & profitability targets
- Additional KPIs include: Stocks in warehouse (SIW), Ageing stocks (>2M%), Stocks in trade (SIT), Account Receivables
- Drive planned strategies, corrective measures to ensure the achievement of the business overall policy in terms of sales targets, distribution, visibility, product mix, and channel training plans.
- Conduct Customer Business reviews on quarterly basis and report achievement to Sales Leader on a timely manner.
- Maintain Channel Strategy and Trade policies pre-aligned with Sales Leader. (This include negotiating/developing trading terms & maintaining successful business relationships with all prospects.)
- Report back business trends and opportunities. Work with Sales Leader & Regional Product team to build business cases to develop identified opportunities.
- Work closely with Supply Chain team on monthly demand forecast plans.
- Work with Marketing to define sales collateral required for target markets.
- Monthly sales reporting for analysing and summarizing information in market movements (e.g. sales report by account, sales forecast, etc.)
- Manage small team consisting of sales person & store promotor.
Job Requirement :
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales management (offline & online), in consumer electronics space. Experience in headphones, mobile/home accessories categories, will be advantageous.
- Strong industry network.
- Effective communicator; ability to effectively engage senior external & internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently & deliver on tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- University degree, preferred, but not essential.
