Junior Portfolio Manager

Avrio Wealth is a boutique wealth planning and investment management company that is licensed by MAS and the SEC. We work with all our clients to craft a highly customized financial plan with well-defined goals following the guidelines set up by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards.


Our wealth management strategy is focused on providing a globally diversified portfolio that caters to our client’s unique needs at home or abroad. Avrio’s clients face challenges that require special attention and a worldview. We construct portfolios using low-cost and tax efficient investment products for clients which include US taxpayers and non US taxpayers. Our clients have diverse backgrounds with diverse portfolio requirements.


Portfolio Manager Job Responsibilities:

· Design and implement investment strategies, processes and policies

· Construct and manage ETF, stock and bond portfolios in multiple currencies based upon tax requirements

· Monitor performance and risk of company portfolios

· Prepare performance reports for management, advisors and clients

· Prepare monthly market commentary for distribution

· Review commentary with internal staff for questions and market education.

· Help manage client interactions and communications

· Trade global markets

· Research and present investment strategies

· Identify and cultivate new clients

· Develop and grow a book of business

· Support Avrio’s management, advisors, clients and prospects


Requirements, Skills, Education

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Proven work experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to work in a firm who emphasizes financial planning (no product sales/commissions)
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Willing to work for company that is regulated by both the SEC & MAS and comply with stringent compliance requirements
  • Master’s degree in business, finance, investment or a related field preferred

Computer skills including MS Office, Bloomberg and trading software.
