Job Description & Requirements
Main Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Production Accounting, Vendor payments and matching, Monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging.
- Petty Cash/Float reconciliations for Project Accounting.
- Filing of records, updating system with all invoices and back-ups.
- Provide accounting & clerical support to the department.
- Other duties will include bank reconciliations, cash flow management and various financial administration duties.
- Email correspondence with the external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company’s Accounting Policies and Procedures.
- All other ad-hoc duties relating to accounting.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Graduation in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
- The successful candidate should be proficient with computers and other standard office technology and is meticulous in carrying out work orders.
- A good working knowledge of Excel is essential.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software such as MYOB will be advantageous and willingness to learn to new software is required.
- Prior experience working in a Production Company will be an added advantage.
- The Ideal candidate should be a team player with a can-do attitude who is hard-working, meticulous, good communication, detail oriented, diligent, and highly organized.
