About this role
Patient Advocacy and Support Office functions to champion the fostering of a culture of patient and family-centred care and service excellence. It aims to improve patient and family experience and patient relations across the NUHS cluster. The main areas PASO are involved in include (but not limited to):
- Patient and Caregiver Advocacy
- Patient and Caregiver Support
- Patient Experience
- WE CARE Programme Implementation
The candidate is to provide administrative support to Group Chief Patient Officer (GCPO) and other members of the PASO team in the day-to-day operation and activities to achieve the Department goals.
Job Descriptions
Perform secretariat duties for Department and Committee meetings:
- Coordinate and organize meetings and events
- Manage schedules and logistical arrangements for meetings
- Prepare materials and supporting documents for meetings
- Provide timely and accurate meeting minutes
- Ensure an efficient organization and storage of paperwork, documents and computer-based information
Assist PASO team in department administration that includes but not limited to:
- Process IT, Finance and Procurement requests and claims
- Coordination of publicity & public engagement (e.g. update the dept’s website, produce EDMs for events)
- Data organisation and management (prepare report submissions, support regular updates of the Dept’s intranet site)
Support the implementation of projects with internal and external stakeholders related to Dept workplans:
- Provide support to Committees (PFAC, PASC, Patient Partners, WE CARE Committee, etc) and Departments (Patient Experience, Service Quality, etc) across NUHS to implement initiatives and programmes
- Work with external stakeholders, such as MOH, AIC, Community Partners on initiatives and events
Support ad-hoc assignments or projects when assigned
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or relevant fields
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a complex and fast changing organizational environment
- Prior administrative experience in a healthcare setting will be an asset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Good team player with strong collaborative skills
