Over more than 25 years, GFI has expanded both organically and through acquisitions into a broad range of markets, including fixed income derivatives, cash fixed income, emerging market financial products, energy and commodity derivatives, and equities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tickets entering, billing/invoice and other daily desk matter support for the team
- Provide pricing, brokering and sales services to our clients in Mainland China and Singapore
- Business development into the Mainland China market
- Calculate dealing prices in accordance with Company pricing policies
- To develop business relationships for the Company by socializing with customers and prospective customers outside the workplace when required
- Partake in on-job-trainings to efficiently become a full-fledged broker
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the respective Managers
Requirements
- Fluent communications in English and Mandarin Chinese is required
- Outgoing personality
- Strong business development interest
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
- Any customer service / sales / financials experience is a plus
- Fast learner with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Preferably quick-witted and numerically inclined
- Good team player
- Good tolerance for stress in a fast-paced environment
