Responsibilities:
- Communicates with Tug Controllers to ensure the right Tugs deployed for the right jobs and to double up as Tug controllers when needed
- Manages tugboat Bunkering Operations
- Joint inspection of tugboat operating system to ensure all in working order
- Ensures tugboats are manned with qualified, medically fit and suitable experienced seafarers in accordance with the relevant national and international manning requirements.
- Assists personnel matters (contacting crew’s families) during emergency situation
- Liaises / coordinates with Vessel, Manning Agent, Immigration Officers, for crew change arrangement.
- Handles crew P&I cases
- Arranges crews' transportation, PPE, SMART Card. Arrange crew IPA application with HR, MPA crew flag state certificate application; COE application.
- Updates/ Maintains Crew List/ Flag State List, Crew Personal File,
- Manning of Crew Change File
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Maritime Business/ Nautical Studies
- Must have MPA Port Limit Helmsman certificate
- Preferably 1 years’ experience in maritime operations or Tugboats / Crew scheduling and deployment will be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in port agency and management will be advantageous
