Responsibilities
· Monitor, plan and schedule maintenance of tanker fleet including dry dock.
· Monitor and arrange statutory and classification surveys for vessels.
· Co-ordinate the repairs, defect rectifications and modifications.
· Budget implementation.
· Approve vessel request for stores and spares part.
· Ensure execution of planned maintenance and monitor vessel performance.
· Conduct vessel inspection and ensure compliance with class/statutory regulations and company safety requirements.
· Maintain and upkeep technical manuals, drawings, catalogues from makers and yards.
· Carry out annual vessel technical inspection/audit.
· Attend to technical matters arising during the project.
· Plan and co-ordinate technical repairs during the project including docking of the vessel as necessary.
· Ensure any defects that may affect charter be resolved in a timely manner.
· Attend to project and task assigned.
Requirements
· Certificate of Competency Class-1 or 2 with sailing experiences on tankers as Engineer is preferred
· 3-4 years working experiences as Technical Superintendent for tankers vessels in ship management company
· Good knowledge in vessel machinery, equipment and system
· Knowledge of maritime rules and regulations, codes and guidelines, ISM and ISPS codes preferred
· Able to lead, control and also a good team player
· Able to administer technical and budgetary requirements
