Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts-related matters such as passing journal entries, posting to the general ledger, preparing a trial balance and final accounts, year-end adjustments, depreciation provision, bank reconciliation, control accounts, limited company accounts, statement of comprehensive income, statement of cash flows, liaise with the auditor, statement of changes in equity, and consolidation of company’s accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing process
- Prepare management reports, accounting schedules and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare quarterly/annually financial statement, balance sheet and profit & loss statement for the shareholders to review
- Contribute professional analysis and advice on the financial statement and management report
- Have knowledge of accounts payable functions including verifying suppliers’ invoices, initiating payments, data entry and maintenance & reconciliation of creditors’ ledgers
- Have knowledge of accounts receivable functions including AR ageing, preparing AR reports and monitor cash flow balance
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as & when required
Requirements:
- GCE “N” or “O” level qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Preferably with knowledge of inventory software
- Positive attitude, ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Possess the quality of a keen learner
- A sense of responsibility
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
