On behalf of one of our clients, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Finance and Administration Director.
This role encompasses several key responsibilities, including:
Deputy Managing Director:
- Assume the responsibilities of the Managing Director in their absence.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Singapore subsidiary and other entities within the Group, facilitating seamless communication and information exchange on internal matters and processes.
Finance Director:
- Serve as an internal leader, overseeing all financial aspects of the company.
- Direct financial planning, prepare and submit financial reports for approval, manage taxation, auditing, and support the organization's budgeting process.
- Analyze and present financial reports accurately and promptly, ensuring clear communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage financial, project/program, and grants accounting, and coordinate the annual audit process.
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, monitoring progress and changes, and keeping senior leadership informed of the organization's financial status.
- Update and implement business policies and accounting practices, enhancing the overall policy and procedure manual for the finance department.
- Effectively communicate critical financial matters to management.
- Liaise with Group finance and Tax organization in France, follow and implement Group guidelines
- Assure a regular reporting to Group finance organization (monthly consolidation)
- Prepare the Board meetings
Administration and Other Responsibilities:
- Oversee administrative and information technology functions, as well as facilities, to ensure efficient operations as the organization grows.
- Act as the compliance officer, ensuring adherence to the Compliance Code of Conduct and related policies, instructions, and tools.
- Serve as the local referral point for ethical and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) matters, advising the Managing Director and collaborating with the Group Ethics and CSR Director.
- Develop and maintain Risk & Opportunity (R&O) mapping in compliance with the Group's process.
- Lead the implementation of company instructions, guidelines, procedures, and control regulations for the protection of personal data as the Data Protection Officer.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, a Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and administration roles, ideally within multinational corporations.
- Experience in an audit firm​
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial software systems like SAP B1 is essential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey financial information to diverse audiences effectively.
- Experience in collaborating in a multicultural and multinational environment.
- While fluency in English is required, proficiency in other languages, particularly French, is advantageous but not mandatory.
