Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all project deliverables and services for the client are executed in accordance with contract specifications, approved execution plans/methodologies, and contract KPIs throughout the project duration.
- Engage actively with client personnel and stakeholders, including program participants, project subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure compliance with contract KPIs and promptly address any issues or complaints.
- Provide strong oversight of daily marine operations through site supervisors at each client site to support their activities.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure an ample supply of trained and qualified service crew and resources to support client activities.
- Drive the training of service crew members and uphold quality assurance standards based on approved SOPs.
- Maintain oversight and collaborate with maintenance teams and subcontractors to ensure 100% operational readiness of sea vessels, kayaks, IRBs, and equipment.
- Collaborate with service crew and the client to review and suggest improvements to work processes, as well as introduce and recommend new technologies to streamline operations.
- Conduct regular monthly management meetings and structured engagements with the client and relevant stakeholders, including workgroups and project teams.
- Serve as the secretariat for monthly management meetings with the client, including agenda preparation, documentation, and dissemination of meeting minutes for follow-up.
- Prepare and update the client's Crisis Management Team to ensure uninterrupted service performance during civil and national emergencies.
- Chair monthly Health, Safety, and Environment Meetings (HSEM) with the client for the assigned project.
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum Degree/Diploma in Maritime, Operations Management, or equivalent, with at least eight (8) years of experience managing comparable contracts and/or marine operations.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing vendors/contractors.
- Demonstrate effective communication, strong planning abilities, forward-thinking in forecasting, and adept coordination skills.
- Proficient in resource management, manpower allocation, process enhancements, and adept in preparing reports and delivering presentations.
- Experienced in handling and/or maintaining small pleasure craft (up to approximately 20m), with established connections within its industry/community.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in marine IC engines, electrical circuitry, seaborne systems, basic fluid and hydrodynamics principles, boat architecture and design, and maintenance level categorization.
- Willingness to carry out operations and supervision beyond regular working hours when necessary for project requirements.
- Dedicated to providing value for money, maintaining expense control, and delivering high-quality service.
- Posses Class 3 Driving License & Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License (PPCDL) is preferred.
