The Cleaning Supervisor cleaning supervisor works under the manager, directly overseeing day-to-day cleaning activities, assigning tasks, and supervising staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards. They focus on frontline supervision and execution, ensuring cleanliness and resolving issues as they arise. Job Description

Individual to be involved in:
1. Directly supervise cleaning staff, assigning duties and monitoring performance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
2. Train new cleaning personnel on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
3. Conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and address any deficiencies.
4. Coordinate with the cleaning operation manager to schedule staff shifts and allocate resources appropriately.
5. Maintain records of cleaning activities, including inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and staff attendance.
6. Serve as a point of contact for cleaning staff, addressing concerns, providing guidance, and facilitating communication between management and employees.


Requirements

1. Proficiency in various cleaning methods, tools, and chemicals to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
2. Ability to direct, motivate, and coach cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed according to standards and deadlines.
3. Strong focus on detail to identify areas that require cleaning and ensure thoroughness in tasks performed.
4. Effective communication with cleaning staff, management, and clients to convey instructions, report issues, and address concerns.
5. Skill in prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and allocating resources to meet cleaning objectives efficiently.
6. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, environments, and requirements, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness in fulfilling cleaning responsibilities.
