Nomura's Operations department supports the company's business activities through efficient operational processes. The team collaborates with senior leadership, business units, and stakeholders to develop effective operational strategies, providing guidance on process design, implementation, and management to align operations with business objectives. Nomura's Operations team specializes in trade processing, settlement, custody, and asset servicing, known for providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities:

  • Run a BAU process with strong control mind-set supporting remittances and securities transfers.
  • Perform assigned tasks independently, timely and accurately
  • Handling exceptions and able to provide constructive solutions to resolve query and challenge.
  • Able to review existing process and come up with ideas for efficiency without compromising on control.
  • Perform ad hoc supports for manager
  • Manage internal stakeholders and ensure consistent delivery as per SLA
  • Participate in projects and change initiatives

Requirements:

  • Min 1-3 years’ experience in asset transfer / settlements with private banking experience preferred
  • Experience in Remittance and Settlements (eg, Payments, Receipts), Custody (eg, FOP transfers, Conversions)
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and pressure
  • Inquisitive, proactive and able to work in fast paced environment
